Building Community Playing Kickball!

Today the G5 of room 26 played kickball with their kindergarten reading buddies.  The objective was to build community and teach their young buddies the art of kickball.  It was great to see the older students teaching the younger ones and they had fun!

What a Great Day!!

Today in math we studied and practiced for our test this Friday!

In Science we played a game called spot the place were we got a lazer and our teacher named a place and we hade to point to it.

 In connections we were finishing our essays.

Finaly in Band and Orchastra a dude came in and played music.

Wonderful Wednesday

Today we did math, science, and art. Also we went to reading buddies and we read with ms.Luwe's class! It was really fun!!!!!!! Wednesday are fun!!!!! 

In math we corrected our homework and we practiced adding and subtracting unlike fractions.

In science we turned in our homework and we practiced drawing profiles of mountains.

Art today, we started the first part of our art test.

What a Long Tuesday!!

Today we had a very long day. In math we learned  how to add and subtract unlike fractions.  In science Ms.Lindberg told us that she was getting married to a dude named Mike. Congrats Ms.L!!!!!! We also learned what a topographical map is.In connections we finished our persuasive essay. Mr.Regala tried to do a magic card trick but it did not work with Michelle.  Overall it was a great day (and long)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Memorial Day Weekend

This Memorial Day my family went to a parade and we thought about all the people who served in our armed forces and died protecting the very freedoms we have today.  What did you do over the Memorial Day weekend?  

Friday Happy Day's

Today in math we learned how to add and subtract fractions with unlike denominators. In P.E. we did a P.E. test. When it was time for science we had presented our science projects for erosion. In connections we almost finished our persuasive essay. For our class meeting we played kick ball.

Persuade me...

In connections, we just finished our public forum debates and we talked about how effective it is to have good evidence to support your stakeholder position.  We also discussed how being persuasive is effective in getting others to agree with your position. 

Last Friday we discussed what makes a good thesis statement.  Please tell me what makes a good thesis statement and write your thesis statement based on the stakeholder position you will be supporting.

Stevenson Talent Show

Great Job to everyone who participated in the Annual Stevenson Elementary Talent Show.  All the acts were great and the night showcased all the wonderful talents at our school.  Special thanks to our wonderful host's for the evening, Kamryn and Silvia.  They did a excellent job!!
