Students have started a new chapter in social studies learning about the West African Slave trade, the Middle Passage, and their arrival to America. The pictures show the students engaged in a simulation to learn about the awful conditions and dilemmas the slaves faced during their journey to America.

In the book I'm reading, Artemis The Brave, Artemis has had her first crush, but she doesn't really seem to be impressing him. The first time she met him, she was a TOTAL MESS! Not to mention the fact that Apollo, Artemis' brother, hates the boy's guts. Read the book to find out if Artemis' problems are solved!
